Week 18
I'm picking a good schools for my kiddos as my blessing this week. I had the opportunity to go on a field trip with Cody & Kelsey this past week. I loved watching all the great teachers & seeing how much the kids love them. It made me think how blessed we are that they get to go to such a wonderful school! I still remember when last year we learned they would be going to a new school. The kids coming home so excited when they found out that their principal would be going over with them to the new school. I love that my kiddos still want me to go do things with them, I know that will change pretty soon. It was so fun to watch them interact with their friends & even see how they are around their teacher. My kids love riding the bus & most of the kids are from our ward.

Week 17
For my blessing this week I choose the temple.
There had been rumors for awhile about them building a temple in our ward boundaries. And, you never know if it's true or not well we found out that it's official they are building a temple that will be so close! I will get to drive by it every day. There will be one in Gilbert & one in Gila Valley. I can't wait to go to the open house what an experience that will be for our kiddos. I love going there and having that wonderful peaceful feeling!

Week 16
My blessing for the week is my sweet Kennedi! All last week she had canker sores all in her mouth. She could hardly eat or talk! We are all happy to have our sweet happy girl back. It was fun just having her at home with me. We got to have some bonding time & she never had to share my time. After the second day I think she would have loved to go back to school. I'm so blessed to have this beautiful girl be my daughter.

Since I missed last week I'm going to combined week 14 & 15.
I am so blessed to have two wonderful brothers!
I was in third grade when Jack was born & I remember not wanting my parents to name him Jack. I had a boy in my class at school named Jack & I was so worried that everyone would think I liked him if they found out. Well my mom had him while I was at school & so I had to tell my whole class that I had a new brother named Jack. I survived that day & love his name and it fits him perfectly.
I can't believe how fast time goes, they are growing up so fast! Jack is getting married this summer. Kellie and Jack make such a cute couple & they seem so happy together. I'm very excited for them and I'm hoping they will move close to us.
Steven will be 19 in September and will be graduating in May. He was my baby! If you look in his baby book you will see my hand writing. I would run home from school so I could hold & feed him. I video taped him all the time but I never took the camera off Steven. I even have on camera him saying my name for the first time. They are great brothers! They are handsome, sweet and so fun!!! I hope the last picture embarrasses them, they are such dorks! Of course us girls had no idea what they were doing in that silly picture.

My blessing is my parents

I love these two pictures & pretty funny that not only did they have twins but now they have twin grand kids. I'm so blessed to have wonderful parents. Their main focus is keeping our family close & I think they are doing a super job! Love you guys!

Week 12
My blessing is Kelsey! I feel so blessed to have this girlie be part of our family. I was so excited when Mike and I started dating because I had a girl to shop for. She is so sweet & very helpful! She is a pro at cleaning bathrooms & doing dishes. Kelsey is a very determined little girl. I love that once she puts her mind to do something, anything she will work extra hard to achieve it. I still remember when she was 5 years old she wanted to learn to whistle. She worked & worked until she got it-something I still can't do. Kelsey is very mature and loves to hang out with the adults but also loves to have a good time with her friends & cousins.
I love that she is so passionate about horses & has really gotten all her friends to love them too! They even started a club & their goal is to save enough money to buy a horse together & share it. Kelsey is a good friend to everyone, she is fun,easy going, beautiful, loves reading & music and is very creative. I'm so blessed to have this sweet daughter be part of my life!

Week 11
My blessing for this week is all my nieces and nephews.

Tatum was the first that made me an aunt. Oh what a sweetie & I sure loved holding, playing and spoiling that cute little girl! Cody & her sure love playing with each other. Now that they are both older they kind of like doing there own thing. They are so funny they act like brother and sister sometimes.
Yesterday Kennedi kept bringing me the phone & wanting to call Landon when I said no she would say "what about Sydney" , "what about Presley" then going down the list of all the kiddos she knows. If we are going over to Paige's or saying anything about Paige's kids. Kennedi always will say and Paige! She never wants to forget aunt Paige. We love getting together with my family and playing with all the cousins.

This winter we got to spend some time with Shana (Mike's sister) and her kids Shea and Connor. It was so fun getting to hang out and really get to know them better. We don't get to see them very often so that was so much fun!
We also spent the morning with Lainie and her cute little ones! We will have to plan another trip up to Utah because we just didn't get enough time with them.

That same trip to Utah we were able to spend lots of time with Kaden and Ryker. Playing in the snow, coloring, going movies, playing games, lots of crafts and just hanging out and making memories with their cousins. Cody & Kelsey love doing fun things with Kaden almost every Saturday.

So, this week I'm very blessed to have such super sweet nieces and nephews! I love that my kiddos have so many cousins to play with and I hope they stay close with all of their cousins.
After going through all my pictures I really need to get some more group pictures when we are with all the cousins. Sorry about the bad quality of the pictures.

Week 10
My blessing for this week is Arizona winters. I was going to put AZ weather but you might all think I'm a bit nuts! I just love how the kiddos can still go outside and play and enjoy the beautiful weather. And, even in the summer give them a hose, a few toys and a Popsicle and they are happy! About half way through the winter I'm sick of being cold and can't wait for summer, true Arizona girl right there!

Week 9
My blessing that I can't stop thinking about has to be the scriptures. I have really challenged myself this year to really understand them. I have been good about reading them but this year I have really started to study them. I already feel blessed because of it.
We as a family has started faithfully reading together every morning. Sure we have read before but it was always at the last minute read a few verses before family prayer or at breakfast while everyone eating. But, we finally have all got on board and are really doing good! It really amazes me how Cody & Kelsey can pronounce those very hard words and they are really improving on reading as well. I count this for their 15 min. reading time for school. I feel like our family has gotten stronger because of our great efforts. And, my day seems to go a little smoother. We started in January and I pray that we will keep this going in our house.

Week 8
This week I kept thinking of things I'm blessed with but today is my blog's 1st birthday! I thought I would write about how much I have loved blogging. It's not just reading all about others lives, I won't lie I do love that. I have loved finding old friends, keeping in touch with family & making lots of new friends. Oh, and who doesn't love nice comments?! All of Mike's family is out of state so it is very nice for them to see what we are up to.
My favorite has to be having a journal. I have always been good at keeping one until the twins came. I still have mini journals for each kiddo that I keep in the kitchen. I love that I have pictures & cute sayings of my kids & next I want to make it into a book.

Week 6 & 7
These two go together so I put them together. My blessings for last week & this week are my job & my clients. I'm so happy that my mom really pushed Paige & I into going to beauty school our senior year. It was fun going & having so many fun experiences & making lots of memories! I am happy I have something that I love to do & get payed doing it. Mike teases me about my job he will say "oh your going to work!" Because he knows how much I love it! I get to talk the whole time I'm doing hair. What girl does like that?!
My other blessing are my clients. I do hair at Paige's house which is so nice! I love the extra cash but they are friends too. I know all about their families, favorite tv shows, the good & not so good movies, I'm always learning something new. I get little bits and pieces of others lives, I love it! But, it's not always me listening I have told them things too when I need someone to talk to. I have clients who call me later to ask how whatever was going on at the time went. And, I love the calls from clients just to let me know how much they loved their hair. I feel very blessed to have these blessings in my life!

Week 5
My blessing for the week is our beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. Yesterday watching his funeral on tv I could not stop thinking about him & impact he had on my life. Then today at church listening to so many wonderful testimonies & hearing how loved he was. I love how much he loved and cared for his wife. And, his humor I love it! I love the clip they showed with him talking to a group of missionaries & he said well you are not much to look at! I love that my little ones really felt like they knew him & still pray for him.
I love that he left us with the 9 b's Be grateful, be smart, be clean, be true, be humble, be prayful, be positive, be still, and be involved.
What a blessing!

Week 4
My blessing for the week is Mike!
Meeting Mike has changed my life. I feel so lucky that we found each other.
I love that he worries about me. When I'm not home he is always calling me.
He is so proud of me and loves bragging about me even if it embarrasses me! He even finds good in things that are really not my strong areas for example COOKING!
I love being his girl and going on dates or just watching our favorite shows together.
As much as I complain I love that he loves to cook, lives like a farmer & has a garden.
I love most of all is the wonderful father he is to our four kiddos! He teaches them something everyday. I love how he plays with them & spends his extra time with them.

Blessing #3
Well I wanted to put a cute picture of my kiddos but blogger is being weird today! My blessing for this week is healthy kiddos. Every winter I get annoyed when the whole house is sick with different things. And, this year it felt for awhile we were never going to get rid of the crud going around. But after talking to so many different clients this week I have learned to really appreciate how healthy all my children really have been. I love what crazymamaof6 wrote about her healthy kids. When I'm feeling sorry for myself because I'm on house arrest with a bunch of sickies I need to remember how much worse it could be!

Blessing #2
Our home
I kept thinking all day yesterday about when my parents went to pick my brother Jack up from his mission in Honduras. My mom told us stories about so many wonderful people she meet and how they all lived in very small homes or some even huts! But, they were happy & some gave my parents things right off their walls!
I'm so blessed to live where we do and have a place to call home. It is nothing great or big but we love it! I love that it's yellow. Yellow just makes me happy!! The kiddos have lots of room to play outside. There is room for our animals and for Mike's garden. Mike would love to live on a farm or some remote place. And, anyone that knows me knows that would kill me! Gotta be close to shopping! HEE! HEE! So moving to our home was a compromise!
I love my kids schools, friends, our ward, that everything is close & our neighbors.
Today I am blessed for our home!

For week one my blessing is:
Maplewood ward

I was planning on something else until I went to church today. Every fast and testimony meeting I'm blown away by the youth in our ward. Can I just say how amazing they all are!!! I wish everyone could sit and listen to them speak. I also feel so blessed that my children have them as great examples. This month we had a Mia Maid get up and quote scriptures. She also talked about how she was not going to have soda or a bad movie stop her from getting to the highest kingdom in heaven. The month before we had a boy tell us about bad influences at work. And, what he does to keep his mind clean. We moved three years ago from a great ward & I was sad to leave all my friends but I quickly found how great Maplewood ward was. So this week my blessing has to be the youth in our wonderful ward. I just read this and had to share. I so love reading her blog and would love to meet her!
