Snowflake July 5-7th 2012

We have some good friends who moved to Snowflake so we went to visit them and get out of the heat! We had so much fun hanging out, playing games, dance party, BBQ, drives, hikes, swap meet, rabbit farm, bow & arrows, antique shopping & lots of yummy food. They have friends that have their own man made pond and zip line. We spent our last day playing and we had so much fun! Canoe rides, playing in the sand & of course trying not to get the zip line tangled. Thanks Harris family for a fun get away!

Happy Valentine's Day

This is my family that I love so much! Last year Valentine's day landed on Monday night so since that's family home evening (a night set aside for family time in our church) so I made a big steak dinner and a yummy dessert. It was a hit so this year I did the same I think we started a new tradition. The kids all made valentine's for everyone, so cute. I'm so sad I didn't take one picture today so I had to grab this photo from Christmas. I did a few haircuts today then went to lunch at Joe's Farmhouse with Mike & then I helped with Carter and Kennedi's class party. They had so much fun! Crafts, bingo, cupid game, card exchange, frosted sugar cookies, heart attacked their teacher and lots of yummy food. After our great dinner & wonderful dessert tonight we played Wheel of Fortune on the Wii & then laughed so hard watching Funniest Home Videos. I have the best family ever, I feel so blessed.

Family Photos

A couple of Sunday's back our whole family got together for our annual family photo session. This is a big deal to my mom & in the end I'm always happy we have done them:) I'm so happy I have them done early this year. Now I'm trying to get an idea of what the kiddos want for Christmas. Kennedi has had a list since June and Carter wants a microphone & to be "King of the World" he cracks me up! I'm sure his list will be longer. Thank you to my sweet friend Cara for sharing her talent with our crazy family!

Long Day!

Cody's dance partner was Courtney who is the cutest girl. They were so cute & very excited!

In between each dance the principal would get all the kids & a few adults and invite them to dance, it was so fun!

Look at this great cheering group. PaPa & Grammie, Kelsey, Frammy,Presley, Cody, Carter, Ryker, Kennedi and Kaden. PaPa Joe came to show his support earlier in the day. I sure hope Cody knows how much he is loved!

My kiddos came from school the other day & this is what they did. I had to run and grab the camera. I wanted to remember this moment because it reminded me of when I was young & in school, I wish I could find the picture.

Today I spent most of my day at my kiddos school. I help in Carter and Kennedi's class once a week it has been so fun seeing them interact with their friends & how much they have grown & learned.

Cody and his good friend Trevor signed up a couple of months ago for ballroom dancing. They had to sign a form to commit to be there & not miss more then two practices. After many practices it was time to preform and Cody did great! I will have to add the pictures later. I'm so proud of Cody & so happy that he stuck it out! I love the kids school, their principal is awesome & the kiddos love him.

A wonderful weekend!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. Cody went to the Father's & Sons camp out with his Grandpa because Mike had a class all day Saturday. Friday night Kelsey, Kennedi, my mom & I went to see The Toothfairy it was very cute & one I would not mind owning. Afterwards we went and ate at one of Kelsey's favorites Fudruckers. It's always fun to have some time just with my girls!!!
At home Mike made sure Carter had a fun night as well. They got a pizza & watched Ironman in the family room. He was one happy kiddo! Mike is such a great dad & I'm so grateful for him.

On Sunday, I was waited on all day long & it was wonderful! They let me sleep in, brought me breakfast in bed, church, had a nice visit with Pam & Joe, a nap & a yummy dinner with my mom. I love the picture above, I took on Sunday when Steven & my mom came over for dinner. Oh I almost forgot I have been wanting a new light fixture in our laundry room so that is what I got for my gift & yesterday Mike installed it now that's the real gift!

Easter

I guess it's never is to late to post. Easter was a little different this year because we had General Conference (our church stays home & listens to our prophet on t.v.). I had forgotten to get a bunch of stuff for Easter I had grabbed a few little things & had some stuff I got at Christmas time & it didn't really matter because all my kiddos cared about was the Flarp-noise putty I got for 25 cents in the discount section at Walmart. Carter could not get enough of that silly stuff!

We also went to a fun Easter party at our neighbors house on Saturday, I forgot to post pictures of that. Sunday evening all of my family & some friends came to dinner at our house. We had lots of fun! The kids hunted for Easter eggs, egg toss & of course the bon fire.

I have so many things to blog about like Easter, showers, parties & birthdays but I couldn't wait on the wedding. I will try & catch up tomorrow.

Christmas Morning 2009

Kennedi had woke up from a bad dream which woke Kelsey up. Kelsey had been up since 4am when all the kiddos came to wake us up at 6! Kelsey so excited she couldn't go back to sleep! We had a great Christmas and the kids were not disappointed.
All my family came over for breakfast, games & more gifts. The cousins have a gift exchange every year. It was a fun and relaxing Christmas.

This weekend went to Thatcher Mike and I both have family there.  We stayed at my grandparents cabin at Mt. Graham and of course had yummy Mexican food.  We went up to Riggs Lake to go fishing well about 20 minutes into and Mike had all the kids settled on the fishing poles the lighting & thunder start!  By the time we are heading down the mountain back to the cabin it’s raining so hard it starts to hale!  Oh and it’s such a small world, we ran into our neighbors who camp there every summer.  We then got ready & went to visit some of Mike’s family that we have not seen in a very long time. 

My parents came too & brought Paige’s kids with them. We went to the parade in Pima & then went to a big BBQ.  My Uncle Steve & Aunt Ruthann, all their kids & my Aunt Kim & Uncle David were all there too. Also Mike’s cousin Angie & her kids joined us for all the fun!  They had fun games set up for the kids & we ended the night with fireworks. It was a very fun night hanging out with family.

The last day was very nice because we were very lazy!  We slept in & ate all day long!  The kids really used their imaginations and played all day while the adults played a long game of Phase 10.  The kids made lots of memories which I love because I have so many great memories with my cousins!! The kids made forts that were very impressive. We had so much fun it was hard to clean up to go home.

On our way to hang out with my Aunt Kim & Uncle David’s family I wanted to stop at President Kimball’s house he grew up in, in Thatcher Arizona.  We hand such a fun weekend!

CAtch up bABy!!!

We went to the goat show the Friday after school got out. I had never been but it was Mike & Kelsey's 4th year and Cody's 3rd. It was fun and the kiddos had a blast! The weather was beautiful and on Saturday it rained so hard and long. Since we don't get rain to often this was fun for us. Cody won Reserve Grand Champion, he was pretty excited!! It was a fun get away.

In May we went to Carter's preschool graduation! What a handsome little guy. They had a water party planned but it was over casted, windy and sprinkling. Very unusual weather in May.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. On Friday we went over to my Grandma and Grandpa Leffue's house to celebrate Easter & April birthdays. The kiddos had a blast with all the cousins! After dinner a few of us took the older kids to the Easter pageant, I had not been in a long time. It was so wonderful and I was very happy I got to see it with Cody & Kelsey.
Saturday the kids went with Mike to the Sirrine family reunion while I was working. They had a great day with lots of fun!!
Sunday we went to church and then had a relaxing afternoon. We went to my parents for dinner & an Easter egg hunt. My dad got all the grandkids colored chicks! They thought PaPa was pretty awesome. He is such a fun Grandpa. We then headed over to the Clarkson's to see Pam and Joe. We had a wonderful and fun filled Easter.

Brrrr!

A couple of weekends ago we went up to my grandparents cabin for a day of fun in the snow! There are two great hills next to the cabin for tubing. The kiddos had a blast and I didn't get too cold. It was really nice because the sun was out for most of the day! After we were done playing in the snow we got warmed up in the cabin and played games and watched a movie. It ended up being a great family trip to the snow.
