Top Ten Tuesday!

I figured this would be a good way for me to catch up on blogging that I have missed out on!
So here goes on some of the things I have wanted to blog about.
*It's gonna be a LONG one sorry!!

#10 If you read my blog much then you know Kelsey's grandma is staying with us for most of the summer. I was worried that she was going to be bored not to worry she has a busy life. She has made friends with our neighbor they sew, go to church activities, and lots of shopping! Lupita AKA: Tita has been a HUGE help every time I turn around the dishes are done, she has been doing almost all the laundry & watches the kiddos for us. You would think I could get more stuff done with all her help. What's my deal!
#9 I'm so happy that my summer flowers and plants are doing so well. I usually kill my plants within a few weeks but not this year. I'm so proud of myself-yeah for me!!!

#8 I'm so grateful that Mike loves to garden and is always working on getting some yummy veggies! Here is a picture of our some of our first vegetables for the summer. I can't wait to make Emily's great salsa with our tomatoes.

#7 Kennedi and Presley had so much fun the day playing with their baby dolls. It was so cute and really reminded me of when Paige, Bridget and I would play together! The other night Cody, Lupita and I went to Goodwill and I was so excited to find this cute baby doll for only 99 cents! I'm happy because Baby Alive AKA: Lexi will hopefully help me show the twins how this whole thing works.
I have kinda started to potty train the twins but they are not interested & I have to bribe them to even try. Wish me luck!
#6 Playing with cousins and more dress up!
Carter and Kennedi pretty much live in the dress up clothes.
The cousins awhile back all played with the kitchen stuff pretty much all day! I love that they all get along great and are always wanting to play with one another. Kelsey and Tatum went up north with Tatum grandparents for some fun. The girls were so excited for all the fun!!! On Friday we went swimming at Paige's and Jack came over too. It was so fun and the kids were so excited because Paige, Jack and I all got in and played with all the kiddos.



#5 Kelsey and Cody's really good friend got two horses. After church last week we stopped by to see them. Kelsey is a horse lover so she has been ecstatic about this. Mallory called her when they got the first so happy and then called her again when they got their second one for name ideas! I'm so grateful for all my kids good friends!!

#4 We have been playing some of family favorite games! The flour in the face and Kick the can.

#3 Do you remember this? Well this is what I have done to it. . .

What do you think? I think it's a little too Pepito but I figured in about 6 months it will need to be repainted because of all the kiddos!

#2 I have cleaned all my tile and grout in my kitchen, entry and powder room. I hate my tile because even when you mop your floors the grout gets so gross so I did my yearly scrub down. Man it sure feels great!

#1 Here are some of my favorite summer shows! One of my clients recommended Army Wives and I just watched it last night & I'm already hooked! My other favorites are The next Food Network Star and Design Star. Oh and I'm so excited because Burn Notice will be back on in July.

#8 Madison is the happiest little 2 year old I know.
#7 They are my cousin Stacey's girls so I get to see & chat with her a lot!
#6 I just love being a part of their lives & doing fun things with them. It so fun to watch them learn & grow.
#5 They get so excited about the little things! Like just today when Maddie saw a new toy she squilled with excitement!
#4 With different kiddos around it helps Carter & Kennedi to learn to share their stuff.
#3 It makes me stay home more & get stuff done. I can also help out my sisters,sister -in-law & friends out!
#2 These two are for sure girly girls & love all the princess stuff & are HUGE fans of Disneyland.
And the #1 reason is:
Carter and Kennedi have play mates and they all play wonderful together!
* I have been trying to put a cute picture on but blogger is not working!!!

#2 Sydney's fun birthday party!
#1 woke up to surprises from the Easter bunny, hunted for eggs, got all gussied up for church, had a yummy dinner at Grammie & Papa's house & played lot's of fun games with family!
Are my kiddos spoiled or what!? We had to schedule out their whole week because all the family wanted their time. They are so loved!!! Lucky ducks!

Here are ten of my favorites about Christmas!
#10 Favorite winter beverage? Hot cocoa but I do love wassail too!!

#9 Favorite Christmas song? Santa Baby, Mary did you know & good ol' Jingle Bells!

#8 Favorite Christmas colors? Most of my Christmas stuff is traditional but next year I would like to go with lime green, hot pink & red.

#7 Favorite Christmas traditions, as a kid & with your family? Going to look at Christmas lights as we drop off goodies, temple lights, reading Christmas stories & watching all the fun Christmas cartoons. Just being with family!

#6 Favorite Christmas cards- photo? letter? I loooove Christmas cards!!! It's great to get the letter & a beautiful picture. We only do a picture. Before blogging Mike would do a news letter for his family every once in awhile.

#5 What is more fun for you- white elephant or secret Santa? White Elephant, we have been playing this game every Christmas Eve with my mom's side for a very long time! I think it's so much fun!

#4 Tree? real or fake? pre-lit? green or flocked? We have a green fake tree. After being prego with Cody during Christmas I can't do real. I hate the smell now it reminds me of being sick!

#3 Holiday budget- extravagant or low budget? What do you wish it was? Well of course I wish I had unlimited funds so I could give everyone a gift!

#2 Best gifts are-store bought or homemade? I love getting something homemade. It just seems like it really came from the heart!

#1 Which is better- surprises galore or being sneaky & peeking? I love being surprised! One year our cousin Stacy loved to peek & was trying to talk Paige & I into opening one of our gifts. We didn't want to so we let her go in the other room to look.

TOP TEN TUESDAY!

Top ten things that make me happy!!!
#10 Sunday was the 2nd week in a row that the twins sat through all of sacrament meeting well since they were babies!
*Of course Mike came late with Carter but they still sat through the meeting.
#9 I'm so happy to have a sweet and helpful hubby. He never seems bothered when I go on girls trips and I love our date nights.
#8 Mike and I are in the marriage and family class during Sunday school. We are having so much fun and learning a lot! It's a really fun group of couples.
#7 The beautiful and much cooler weather. And all the fun my kiddos and their friends have been having being outside.
#6 Doing fun things as a family!!! This is so important to Mike and I to not only have family dinner together and teach our kids values but also to have fun as a family. This weekend we went to The Goldfield Mining Company. It's an old mining town with an ice cream parlor, a general store, panning for gold, lots of yummy food and a fun train ride. We had a fun afternoon!
#5 I'm getting very excited about all the fun Halloween parties coming up! I love this holiday and I have so much fun dressing up and seeing the kiddos so happy.
#4 Going to lunch with friends. It's always fun to get away for some adult conversation!
#3 My little ones singing "We will, we will ROCK YOU!" Carter really gets into it-very funny! They learned it from their aunt Paige.
*Now I just need to catch it on camera.
#2 New babysitters!!! It's always great to find a great sitter and very sad when they get to old to babysit! Our neighbor Chase has been babysitting for us and we love him. This is the first time Carter hasn't cried when we left. We have two other cute girls in our ward babysit and my older ones ask for them all the time. Gotta love that!!
#1 I almost have all my laundry done for the week! 9 loads!!! I know for some that's not a lot but, for me this is BIG and I'm very happy to be done soon.
* The only thing that gets me through folding all the clothes is watching my favorite shows!

#6 I want to paint this cute little table my mom gave me. It's for the kiddos to have a place to create when I'm doing something crafty or blogging HA! I'm thinking maybe pink, what do you think?

#5 Finish shopping for my kiddos Halloween costumes and also come up with outfits for Mike & I. Oh how I love dressing up!

#4 Scrapbook some cute pages of my kiddos. I have not scrapbooked for fun in a long time! I'm always doing something for someone else which I love doing too but, I really need to catch up!

#3 I want to make something darling for all my girls hair stuff! Look at their messy drawer. I'm thinking a fun board that I made for Presley. You can check it out here

#2 I want to finish hanging some shelves I bought for my bedroom forever ago!

I'm proud to say my #1 was complete as of yesterday! And if you were wondering this is what I did here is a picture. I organized all my kiddos toys. I got rid of 3 big bags full of toys. Then took pictures of everything. I put the pictures on the basket or tub with those toys in it. I did this in our old house with Cody & Kelsey and it really helped with clean up!

My top ten things I have in baskets!
#10 Laundry: This picture is clean clothes YAY!!!










#9 Art Supplies: I have talked about this before but all my kiddos love drawing, painting, cutting, gluing pretty much anything creative!










#8 TOYS!: I'm a sucker for toys! I think I like them just as much as the kiddos. We have lots of baskets of toys all over the house. Selves in the kids rooms, one in the scrapbook room, in the master and a big basket in a cupboard in the family room.









#7 Diapers: You gotta have baskets of diapers! With two 2 year olds- I dream of the day our home will be diaper free!!








#6 Remotes: We can't forget about the remotes. We all freak out when one of these babies is missing!









#5 Magazines: One of my favorite things! I have a lot of baskets around my house filled with magazines.








#4 My kiddos clothes: I have the boys socks and underwear in baskets. This amazingly has stayed organized.








#3 Coins: We have so much loose change. I would find it all over so I found a jar. Then found this cute basket with a lid to hide the change.







#2 Fruit: We all love fresh fruit! Carter could live on bananas, apples and milk.






And my #1 thing I have in baskets in my house...





SCRAPBOOKS! My kiddos love to look at the scrapbooks I have put together. I can't wait to learn digi-scraping and start putting them in books too! Another thing I would love to do is print out my blog so far & put it in a book as well.
