Spring Break

CArter was a crack up like always. He became the sheriff of our little town & had Tom be his Deputy. He also found this tumbleweed when we were cleaning up to leave & he was heartbroken when I told him he had to leave him behind.

We even had fireworks! Proof that Tom got stuck!

We had a fun week for Spring Break. I worked all day on Monday so the rest of the week we could do a lot of fun things:)

Tuesday with a bunch of fun friends we spent the whole day at Amazing Jakes.

Wednesday we headed out of town with some of our neighbors & some of their family and friends to go camping.

We roasted marsh mellows, ate a lot, played lots of fun games, played in the water, rode quads, colored lots of pretty pictures, read books & took naps in the middle of the afternoon:) And, there were lots of laughter! We had a great time!!

Spring Break 2009

We had a great spring break! Paige, Rex, Tatum & Sydney went on a cruise for Tatum's dance group so we had Landon part of the week & my parents had him the rest of the time. The weather was beautiful!! The kiddos played outside a lot & got nice and dirty! Here are a few of the fun things we did this week: *This happened because of fun Grandmas and Grandpas in my kiddos lives. We are so blessed!
-Visited the park
-Picnic
-Riding bikes
-Roasted marsh mellows
-Played games in the trailer (this is so much fun to my kids for some reason. They must feel like they are living on their own.)
-This one is sad! We lost our sweet dog Tess. She was hit by a car on our street. -Went to a fun Bounce place(Frammy brought them so I don't know the name)
-Played with cousins
-Went to two movies Bedtime Stories & Bolt
-Swimming with friends
-Goofy Golfing
-Canoe rides
-Played with friends
-Fishing
-Visited the library

Friday we headed for Prescott to visit our friends that recently moved up there. I was excited because I have so many great memories of Prescott. My cousins & grandparents lived there when I was young. It had been a long time and a lot had changed! My family got to hear me go down memory lane, we even found my grandparents old house.
It was fun hanging out with the Beazers. The kiddos has a blast and didn't want to leave. We went fishing and Cody & Carter got to go on a canoe ride. We went all around down town Prescott & even met real cowboys! I had so many memories of the 4th of July celebrations as a child. Paige & I won "cutest twins" one year in the parade. When I told the kids Cody asked if there were a lot of twins in the contest? Ha Ha probably not! I never thought of that just remembered winning. We went to the library, the kids loved it & didn't want to leave. I found magazines for 25 cents so I was in heaven!!

All in all it was a wonderful week! But I'm always ready for them to go back to school. Kelsey got a cold in Prescott & Carter threw up today so maybe I get a couple of them a little bit longer!
Well my kiddos have found a new love. Not just going to the park but riding bikes at the park. Oh and they are all little dare devils! You should see Kennedi as soon as she is on her bike she races to the hills & goes straight down them.

Spring Break Update!

The kids had a bunch of friends over the first day of Spring Break. They had so much fun with this old box. They made this fun fort! The weather was pretty nice so they spent most of the afternoon outside.
Kelsey and Cody had a sleep over at Frammie
Pammie's house. I had the whole day to get us all ready for our trip to
San Felipe, Mexico.
We ended up leaving early Thursday morning.
The kiddos did so great
I was so proud of them.
I don't know why they wouldn't they had everything they would ever need! hee! hee!
We got to Mexico in the late afternoon and changed into our swim suits and headed down to the beach.
My parents, Steven, Paige and her kids and Emily and her kids came down on Tuesday. My Uncle Dave and Aunt Kim and all of their kids and grandkids and our friends the Ferrins were already there. Rex, Randall, the Crandalls all got there Thursday night.
We had a huge group it was so much fun!
The kiddos had so much fun down at the beach. I will have to take a photo of the HUGE sand dollars Kelsey and PaPa found.
We had a few scary moments with the Allens, but thank our Heavenly Father that we are all safe!

Took the DVD player almost everywhere and the twins loved it! This is a picture of them watching Shrek, while we waited for our food.
And Carter scored a nice souvenir.

We had a great time! Thanks Dad for hooking us up. My dad spends most of his weekends selling real estate for El Dorado Ranch. The kids played at the beach, set off fire crackers, got fun rides on 4-wheelers and Rhinos, played Wii, ate yummy Mexican food, swam at the condo pool, had Thrifty's ice cream and pick out fun souvenirs.

On our last day in Mexico we went to Church. I loved it, as soon as we walked in one of the retired English speaking woman came up and asked if any of us played the piano. Then she asked mom and I to sing with them. A little scary since we are not singers. It was hard to stay focused when you don't understand what they are saying. We had a safe and exciting time and can't wait to go back!
