Womans Conference

I just returned from Woman's Conference in Provo Utah. I went with my mom, Paige and friends Cami, Rachelle and Deann. Jack and Lindsay meet mom & I at the airport. Paige and the others were coming in the evening. We stayed in the dorm rooms at BYU and it was so much fun & a SUPER cheap trip. I came home uplifted and happy! I can't believe how many people I ran into. We even ran into a babysitter we had not seen in over 20 years. Small world!
There is so many things I want to share about conference. Here are some of the highlights of the trip and some of my favorite talks.
-Getting lost a million times!!
-Asking for a new dorm room & feeling pretty silly! I felt like we were at a hotel & complaining about our room.
-Getting a photo with Sister Dalton
-Squishing into a pickup truck of a worker who offered us a ride.
-Mom almost getting in a wreck twice!!
-Having lunch with Jack & Lindsay
-Picking up a student in our car to help us find our room.
-Getting to see Lindsay at work. She always looks so stylist-love her!
-Hearing old stories about when Jack, Steven & Bridget and the neighbors Sam & Sarah when they were younger.
-Paige running to the bathroom & me almost peeing my pants watching her.
-Mom and I rubbing lotion on our noses so we couldn't smell the stinky bathroom on our plane ride home.
-Staying up late talking.
-Going to Temple Square and seeing my mom's friends art for "8th International art Competition Remembering the Great Things of God".
-Laughing at the guy in front of us hyperventilating when we lift off.

-Running into old friends and making new ones. Jack & Lindsay

Disneyland for the day!!!

Back in October my mom and I had so much fun at Disneyland that we ended up buying season passes. We kept meaning to go back but just never found the time. Since my mom works for the airlines we can fly over and make a day trip. So on Wednesday my mom & I took Kelsey to Disneyland for the day!
I loved that we did things she loves most. Kelsey is our animal lover! The night before I had Bunko and Cara was a sub. She told me about the cute little ranch that I had never seen before. It was the cleanest petting zoo ever!!! Kelsey loved reading about all the animals & of course petting them all. We also got a great idea for our goats at home. All the goats had bells and name tags around their necks-so cute!!!

I could seriously use a tan! What do you think?! I had so much fun because Kelsey loves all the fast rides and doesn't get a bit scared! Space Mountain was our favorite. It was a perfect day at Disneyland! Not crowded and beautiful weather. Eights hours was enough for us we were pooped out! Thanks mom for a fun day. Love ya!

Memory Lane Monday

This picture was taken I believe 5 years ago it was a girl's trip we took to California for Bridget's 21st birthday. We had so much fun! We flew over for the weekend and pretty much shopped the entire time. We would stay up late talking and laughing! One night we went to dinner and then went and saw Brittany Spears movie, I remember we all thought it was cute and thought she was sweet. We shopped so much!!! This picture is Bridget, Paige and mom trying to stuff all our great finds in our bags. We even had baskets in our suitcases. I remember when we landed in Phoenix and went to pick up our bags mine had broke and all my stuff was all over! I was a little embarrassed. Someone that worked at the airline ran over and had me pick a new suitcase in their office. I said, so you are giving me a new suitcase when I'm the one who over stuffed it? That's right she said, how great is that! We have tried to go on a girl's trip every year and now that mom works for the airlines it sometimes more then once a year! I'm so grateful that we are so close and loving doing fun things together.

This is what we had for dinner the other night. It was so good the fries are not so healthy but the kiddos sure love them but it sure is a temptation for me! It is nice that Mike loves to cook .

My mom took Paige, Bridget and I to LA for a day of fun and shopping! We left at 6:30 in the morning and got home by 8pm. We spent the whole day at the Fashion District so fun! We found so many great deals. I got Kelsey's baptism dress for $30 and got the girls so many clothes and shoes! We kept saying the whole day how much money we would be saving if we only had boys! We never even stopped for lunch, just snacked the whole day. We had 20 minutes to get to the car and head to the airport. On our way we stopped at a shoe store and left with about 10 pairs. I will post a picture later of the 28 pairs we bought all together. Thanks mom for a fun day, love ya lots! XOXOXO
