How do you do Thanksgiving dinner?
We switch off every year between my dad's family usually at my Aunt Kim & Uncle David's house and my mom's family. This year we are going to my Aunt Cheryl & Uncle Tom's house. With my mom's family we try to do a big group family photo (our hubby's love this part! hee hee!!) We eat outside & the kiddos play, the guys watch tv & nap and the girls chat. This year we will be planning our BIG shopping day!
Where do you go for thanksgiving? stay home? in-laws? travel? I pretty much answered this one all ready. Mike's family is in Utah & Alaska so we have always just stayed in town. We would love to go to Utah one of these years. Alaska would be fun too! I'm such a baby I would probably be so home sick!!
If you bring something what do you bring?
I bring something different every year.
What "makes" thanksgiving dinner for you?
Mashed potatoes, yummy homemade rolls & being with family.
What grosses you out?
I hate cranberry sauce and I'm not a huge fan of stuffing.
Gravy preference? brown? turkey? Homemade?
I love my Grandma Daley's chicken gravy soooo yummy with lots of pepper!
Mashed Potatoes? from scratch? or instant?
Homemade mashed potatoes with salt, pepper & a little bit of butter.
I love my Grandma Daley's potatoes too!
Do you actually eat Yams?
I'm like a kid I always said I didn't like yams but I couldn't ever really remember actually trying them. It was after Mike & I were married that I ate them I loved them. I don't like them with marshmallows. Butter, brown sugar & cinnamon-YUM!
What about cranberries?
The thought could make me gag!
Pie? What is a "must have" at every Thanksgiving dessert table?
I love apple pie warm with a little vanilla ice cream. I don't like pumpkin or pecan. When Mike makes pecan pie I try but I ended up just eating the crust. Oh, I love the french silk too!
Pies? From scratch? Or store bought?
I love homemade but I don't mind store bought.
Whipped cream? From scratch ? Cool whip? Or from a can?
Nothing!
I stole this from Crazymama thought it would be fun!
I would love to hear what you love about Thanksgiving, please share!

This is what we had for dinner the other night. It was so good the fries are not so healthy but the kiddos sure love them but it sure is a temptation for me! It is nice that Mike loves to cook .
My mom took Paige, Bridget and I to LA for a day of fun and shopping! We left at 6:30 in the morning and got home by 8pm. We spent the whole day at the Fashion District so fun! We found so many great deals. I got Kelsey's baptism dress for $30 and got the girls so many clothes and shoes! We kept saying the whole day how much money we would be saving if we only had boys! We never even stopped for lunch, just snacked the whole day. We had 20 minutes to get to the car and head to the airport. On our way we stopped at a shoe store and left with about 10 pairs. I will post a picture later of the 28 pairs we bought all together. Thanks mom for a fun day, love ya lots! XOXOXO

Easter weekend update. Warning it's a long one!
Our weekend started off by going to the Sirrine family reunion. We had a great time Cody's grandpa well all the kiddos call him PaPa Joe put on quite a party! There were so many fun things to do. The little ones loved the sand box, swing set and the music.
The older kids did barrel racing, riding sheep and trying to catch sheep to win some cash! No, luck but they had fun! They always have fun on PaPa's big slide. They had an egg hunt after lunch. We had a full day of family and fun!

Next we headed over to my Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Tom's house for a birthday/Easter party. It was my Grandma and cousin Stacey's daughter Carys' birthdays. The kids had a blast playing on the tramp, playing ping-pong and hunting for more eggs! Carter really enjoyed the cake! After the party my parents took the older kiddos to the Easter pagent they had a great time!

After church the kids dyed Easter eggs while Mike and I got everything ready for all my family to come over for dinner and fun!
Presley and Landon fell in love with the goats and we had a hard time getting them to come in. After a yummy dinner that my sweet hubby made. The kids hunted for once again more eggs! The kids played t-ball while the adults saw how far they could throw the balls. After we had a egg throwing contest- winners Mom and Kelsey!

We had a wonderful Easter with family and lots of fun!
Hope everyone had a great day!
