Thanks to my friend Cara I would have forgotten to do this. I have done it in the past for the older kiddos. I guess it's not to late even if their birthdays were in December.

Disneyland!!!

Cody and Kelsey last year got to go to Disneyland for their birthdays with my mom & I so Mike and I thought that is was Kennedi and Carter's turn! They turned 5 on Sunday so we thought it would be a great birthday gift. The last time they went they were 5 months old so that doesn't really count. We had so much fun! They loved meeting all the characters and the yummy treats. We went all day and they were troopers!! When we were all done we asked them what their favorite thing about Disneyland was? Kennedi loved the fast rides. Her favorites: Mickey's Roller Coaster, Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. Carter's favorite part was meeting the princesses. It was great seeing all the Christmas decorations and the weather was beautiful! It really didn't get busy until that night. By the end of the trip Carter & Kennedi were missing Kelsey & Cody. Next time the whole family will go.

Another one of Carter's favorites was Alice in Wonderland.

Creating

You can't really tell in this picture but the kids are working on a Robot. We have a ton of extra pieces of wood around here from the Turkey Pit and kiddos are loving it! The weather has been nice so they go out and work on their masterpieces!

On a side note-Paige asked Carter the other day what he wants for Christmas? His answer: A bow tie. He cracks me up!!! And the twins are counting down the days until their birthdays. 3 more! I can't believe they will be 5. Yesterday we were at Target the kids were buying Christmas gifts for each other. We parked and Cody called Carter & Kennedi "the twins" which we do a lot! And Carter said why do you call us "twins" it was cute.

4!!!

December 13th

Yesterday Kennedi and Carter turned 4 years old! I usually feel bad for them because their birthday is in December and it seems to get over looked every year. But not this year! I put together a little party at the park on Wednesday. They had so much fun and felt pretty special. That morning we kept asking them who's party they were going to? Carter would say Kennedi's! Kaden and Ryker came too but had to leave early that's why they are not in the picture.

Then on Friday they brought cupcakes to preschool and that night we went to Grandpa Leffue's birthday party. And, they got to open gifts there too. Oh, we aren't even done! Saturday morning we had our ward Christmas breakfast with Santa. They had so much fun talking to Santa and singing fun songs. After Carter got off Santa's lap I asked him if he told him he wanted a Batman car? He turned around & yelled Santa I want a Batman car & then looked at me I need to go talk to him again! I convinced him that Santa heard him. Later that evening we went over to Pam & Joe's house for pizza and cupcakes and of course more gifts!!! So, now I'm thinking what have I done they are going to think every birthday will be like this. Madison, Landon, Carys, Cotton, Carter, Presley and Kennedi

I love this picture for two reasons Kennedi enjoying the frosting and the big kiddos in the back ground. They were happy to get to come too. Perfect day to have a half day.

Yay for October!!

I love this time of year! A couple of weeks ago we were waiting at the bus stop & Cody said the same thing. He said I love how it's getting cooler (not really but hopefully soon!), it's going to be Halloween, putting fun decorations up & then it's Christmas. Then he said please mom can we help you decorate? I'm surprised I have not decorated yet, this is one of my favorite holiday!

I am sad about all my pictures I took in the last 2 weeks, I some how erased all my photos. My mom, Paige & I took Cody & Tatum to Disneyland for their birthdays. We also took Rhett & Chase along for the fun! So, as soon as I get some pictures from my mom I will hopefully post them. And, I will tell all about our very fun trip. We also had the going away party for the kiddos friends and those pictures were some that disappeared!

Paige, Emily & I have started to run in the mornings we are up to 4 1/2 miles. This might not seem like a big deal but we are not runners. In school I always walked the mile in p.e. It feels great to run and I still can't believe I'm enjoying it as much as I am.

Tatum is 7 today! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is so special to me because she made me an Aunt! Love that girlie!!!! Happy birthday Tater Tot! I wish I had a cute picture of that beauty to post.

Party Pictures!

These are just a few pictures I took of Carter and Kennedi's birthday party! They had so much fun & became pro's at opening gifts! I love the picture of Kennedi & Sydney. Sydney is like a celebrity in our house, Kennedi talks about her all the time. You can see how much she loves her!!!

My babies are 3!!!

This is a lot of pictures and it took me awhile. I had to make sure it was fair you know the same amount of each kiddo! They had their first day of preschool & loved it! I was a bit sad but got a lot done. Everyone is getting sick around here. Kelsey fell & hit her head at school, then on the way home she through up & of course while I cleaned it up I did the same. Carter had strep at the beginning of the week. No one else has shown any signs of it so I hope we are in the clear! When I woke Kennedi up this morning I started singing Happy Birthday she said "it's my birthday again!?" I had a little party with the cousins yesterday and they were in heaven. I love these two so much and feel so blessed that Our Heavenly Father trusted us to have them part of our family!

Good Mail from Grandma

Carter and Kennedi will be 3 on Thursday! I still can't believe how old my babies are getting. They grow up so fast!! Their first day of preschool will be on Wednesday. Mike's mom loves sending the kiddos fun cards & always puts in stickers & a few dollars. She always sends my kids money for their birthdays since she can't be with them. Thanks Lola they love your exciting cards!
