Trunk or Treat

Cody didn't feel like getting dressed in the football costume so he went for easy "quarter back" & Kennedi wanted to be a witch!

Halloween 2011

My friend Ashley does mini-photo sessions for different holidays & I had to do it this year cause my big kiddos will be too big soon! Kelsey my cute nerd, Cody my strong football player, Kennedi my little minnie & my jokester Carter.
On Wednesday we went to our ward Trunk or Treat, we had so much fun! Poor Kelsey she came home not feeling good at all! Mike & Ike Hardy dressed up as a box of 'Mike & Ike' candy & Michelle & I were their 'Hot Tamales'. The guys won best couple costume I thought I had a picture I will look for them it was funny!

Lovin' the clearance rack!

Cara and I went to Blissfest in downtown Mesa it was a fun afternoon with a great friend! After I dropped her off I still had an hour to spare or my kiddos would have been so upset if I came home early! They loooooove Macy our babysitter. I went over to Target and scored on a lot of Halloween costumes. Everything was 90% off- The most I paid for something was $2.49 and the lowest was 13 cents!!! The thing is even if they end up not wearing them for next year my kids love to dress up even the older ones. Also I could not leave with out buying these. How cute is that, I'm always calling my kiddos my little chickadees! I love Target!!

Oh and when I got home the kids were putting on a play with Macy & the little ones kept asking me why I was home. As much as that should make me sad it didn't because I love that my kiddos have so much fun when I can't be home & it makes leaving them so much easier.

Halloween 2009

We had a lot of fun Halloween parties this year. First was our ward (part of our church) trunk or treat. October was such a busy month for me and I should take a picture of my calendar. We all were looking forward to the ward party & I had everyone ready early & we were just waiting around until 7pm. We pull into the church parking lot and people are leaving! Well I had the time all wrong & the party started at 5:30 not 7!!! Thanks to friends that were still there and loaded up the twins bags with candy. That's all they really cared about now Cody & Kelsey was a different story! They were so disappointed & sad. Nothing seemed to make it better not even ice cream!!

Tuesday night we went to the Clarkson's family party and the kiddos had a blast!! Played with cousins and friends and also made new friends. How a ton of fun on the BIG slide, trick or treating, pizza & lots of fun games.

Thursday night we went to Emily & Randall's house for another fun night! It was fun to see all the fun costumes. My mom & dad won a prize for their couple costume, my kids had no idea who Fred & Wilma Flintstone was?! We had yummy food & lots of fun! After all the parties & school activities the kids were done by Halloween night. They had fun at Cara & Tom's house for more Halloween fun & lots of fun hanging out with cousins at Paige & Rex's house. When did Halloween get to be such a busy holiday!? I love it but man oh man-very busy!!!

Halloween is almost here!

I got these cute pictures done from my friend Ashley. I can't wait to see them all and it sure is getting me excitied for Halloween!

Last week we had the whole week off for Fall break. Mike was out of town so we hung out at my mom and dad's. It was like we were out of town!

On Wednesday I taught a scrapbook class for my mom's young woman's class. It was a hit, they loved it we couldn't get them to leave-hee hee! After having all our stuff out mom and I started scrapbooking & ended up scrapbooking the whole weekend. I made 3 new books I need to take pictures of them.

It's always fun hanging out with Jack & Steven. Steven loves to make us laugh by imitating Dad, the funny thing is he is a lot like Dad. Steven had a tough week, on Tuesday he rear ended someone and then on Friday Jack & a friend were leaving and my parents garage is messed up so you have to have someone close the garage. Well Steven pushed the button a little too soon and the garage hit my dad's truck! Steven fixed the garage and never gave up even with mom, dad and me giving him grief.

We had a fun long week but I am happy they are all back in school.

Yay for October!!

I love this time of year! A couple of weeks ago we were waiting at the bus stop & Cody said the same thing. He said I love how it's getting cooler (not really but hopefully soon!), it's going to be Halloween, putting fun decorations up & then it's Christmas. Then he said please mom can we help you decorate? I'm surprised I have not decorated yet, this is one of my favorite holiday!

I am sad about all my pictures I took in the last 2 weeks, I some how erased all my photos. My mom, Paige & I took Cody & Tatum to Disneyland for their birthdays. We also took Rhett & Chase along for the fun! So, as soon as I get some pictures from my mom I will hopefully post them. And, I will tell all about our very fun trip. We also had the going away party for the kiddos friends and those pictures were some that disappeared!

Paige, Emily & I have started to run in the mornings we are up to 4 1/2 miles. This might not seem like a big deal but we are not runners. In school I always walked the mile in p.e. It feels great to run and I still can't believe I'm enjoying it as much as I am.

Tatum is 7 today! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is so special to me because she made me an Aunt! Love that girlie!!!! Happy birthday Tater Tot! I wish I had a cute picture of that beauty to post.

Happy Halloween!

We have been very busy around here. I'm sure like everyone else this busy has been fun so we are happy! We went to our friends annual Halloween party and we all had a fun time and Carter really figured out what this holiday is all about!! Kennedi would go up to our bishop and ask for just one more with her little finger pointing. Last night we had our ward 'Trunk-or-Treat' our friend Monica did a wonderful job putting it all together she sure knows how to have a party!!! I snapped this picture of our friends Mindy and Jon,it was cracking me up. Tonight we have two more parties! I love Halloween but by the time it's Halloween night I'm done. Last night when I was getting the kiddos in bed I kept cheerfully saying one more night and we are done.

Dash is in the house!

Awhile back Carter, Kennedi and I were at Target. When I was looking at some of the costumes Carter spotted Dash which he calls 'SUPER'. He was so excited he started tugging at his clothes like he was going to try it on right there. That night he ran around the house yelling super over and over! He slept in the costume mask and all!

Fun Friday!

This is what I worked on today. I love Halloween!!! I love the nice weather, the fun parties, dressing up & yummy treats. It's a great time of year! It only took me 2 hours to take stuff off the shelves,dust,and find a place for everything. I hope everyone one is having a fun Friday!!!

Halloween?

The kiddos found the box of Halloween costumes and really had some fun with them. They were all to small but they managed to get themselves in them. Carter's shark costume was from his first Halloween, what a cute shark! Kelsey was Tiger 3 years in a row this was before I was in the picture. You should of seen her trying to get that on & it was even funnier watching her get out of the costume. I love when they entertain themselves!! Julie was just talking about Halloween costumes on her blog. Just yesterday Cody & Kelsey started talking about what they wanted to be for Halloween.
