A day at Sunsplash

Paige invited us to go to Sunsplash for Tatum's end of the year dance party! We had so much fun I think I love Sunsplash as much as they do. The twins are getting old enough that it was pretty easy. Carter was there too just the picture I took of him was of him eating not so pretty!

Carter loved the big slides and as soon as we were done he was asking to go again. Kennedi on the other hand thought she wanted to go but once we got up there she changed her mind & there was no way of changing it either.

The weather was a little too cold for me. Every time you got out of the water it was freezing and windy. But I guess we didn't have to worry about burning feet or sun burns!

It was a fun day!

Guess Where I Went!

Yes, I got to go to the midnight showing of Twilight on Thursday night! Emily, Lindsey and I got at the theater and had great seats thanks to Lindsey's mom & sisters. The whole theater was like a huge Twilight party since everyone there was there for the movie. I ate so much junk I was sick by the time the movie started-hee hee!! Paige came with other friends and was in another theater. I was so happy she came but I have to admit I was worried the whole time that she would hate the movie. She still has not read the books and probably never will but I'm happy to say she loved it!!!

I had my camera and talked about taking pictures all night did I NOPE I totally forgot. The shirt Kennedi is wearing in the picture is what I wore wish I had one of these! My friend Julie made them pretty awesome!!!

I also loved it. It was for sure a teen movie and low budget but I loved it!!! And I can't wait for the next one.

Guess What?!

Paige and Emily have had a jewelry business for awhile they got an email awhile back & guess what?
Fox 10 news wants them to come their morning show to show off their beautiful jewelry. I'm going to help set up & model necklaces.
It's tomorrow morning channel 10 @ 9a.m.
I'm a little nervous and I don't even really have to say anything!

Day Trip!

Awhile back I was lucky enough to get to go on a fun day trip to Santa Barbara with Paige, Jack & Steven. The only one missing was Bridget, we missed her. She was too far along to fly & we didn't want to risk her going into labor. Next time we all need to go!
We flew in first thing in the morning & caught the bus & took it down town. We started off with of course running into someone we knew. It was a guy that Paige & I use to babysit-Crazy huh?! Mike is always laughing because I'm always running into someone I know.
We had a yummy breakfast and then walked around funny thing we never even made it to the beach. The boys were not giving us any suggestions as to what they wanted to do so we went & got pedicures. It was Jack's first & Steven had gotten one with Rex before. They loved it!!!
We did some shopping which made us late for the early flight home so we shopped some more & got lunch. We wanted to go see a movie but it was too close to when we needed to get back to the airport. Funny how we did every thing we could do at home but the one plus was no kids & nice weather!
On the whole trip Jack kept teasing Paige & I because we were I guess babying or pampering Steven the whole time. I guess it is just the mother in me & he will always be my baby brother. Jack & Steven are very sweet & so much fun to be around. I feel blessed to have them as brothers.
After lunch we shopped some more and then got ice cream. Then we headed back for the airport we all took naps on the way there. We got there early and of course the flight was delayed so we all played 'dots'. Reminded me of when we were younger & playing in church. We got on the flight just fine and it was a nice quick trip home. We had some trouble of agreeing where we were all going to sit:) hee hee! Oh and there was a bee right where Paige & I were sitting. It was such a fun trip & we all decided we love the day trips! Next one is going to have to be a day trip to Six Flags!!!
I'm so blessed to have great brothers & sisters. I'm so happy that we all love hanging out and are still close. Thanks mom for the fun trip!!!

Memory Lane Monday

My memory this week is all about when Paige and I would stay up and goof around every night when our parents thought we were sleeping. Later of course we figured it out that they knew all along but we sure thought we were sneaky! We would set up our light bright(I think that's what they were called)and play, laugh, talk & sometimes even get brave and sneak and watch Johnny Carson. At one time Bridget's crib was in the middle of our beds & we would keep her up all night too! It's starting to sound like I deserve twins myself! And no wonder after I got married I had such a hard time going to sleep I missed my buddy! I seriously thought we should talk for at least an hour before falling asleep. Having a twin sister was so wonderful it was like being at a slumber party ever night. Where you know you need to go to sleep but there is always just one more thing you gotta say.
Part of this memory is also to write about when I had to get stitches in my lip. I was 5 years old and it was one of those nights when Paige & I were suppose to be sleeping but we were goofing around instead. I don't remember much but I ripped opened my lip on my bed. I still remember my dad's garment top being covered in blood! My mom took me to the hospital and I remember the nurse holding me down. She had short blond curly hair and I was so scared! I also remember when I went to get the stitches taken out I had hot pink pants on and I was so scared that I wet my pants! I didn't mean for this to be so long but here it is, sorry!

Early Birds!!

Paige ,Emily and I have switched gyms. We were at LA Fitness but it was a little far. I'm so proud of us! Emily has not been able to go yet, she still needs to get the ok from her doctor. We have been going at 5am, which is huge for us we both are not morning girls! It has been nice not to have to bring the kiddos and getting it done so early. I can't wait until our bodies look as good as those girls in the photos, hee! hee! Now I need to get back to my good eating habits. I took the twins to the doctor yesterday and they both have ear infections in both ears, no fun! That explains the extra clinging .
