Summer Time!

Monica, Mindy & Cara put together a schedule for Fun Friday's for the summer! We spent the whole day at Val Vista Lakes playing on the beach. Me & my kiddos got a little too much sun but we sure had fun!
Cody started basketball camp with two of his friends Beau and Jayden. It was long days and for the whole week we had to keep some of the fun stuff quite! But with two 4 year old stuff leaked about all the fun we had this week!
On Friday we went to The Arizona Science Center. We could have stayed all day if we didn't need to eat. Everyone had a buddy and the rule was no one could leave the room until the whole group was ready. I had lots of helpers, it made the trip much more relaxing knowing I had so many big kids watching over the little ones! We got a group rate because with all of us there was 20. Thanks Cara for working that deal!
After we went to a really fun ice cream shop for lunch & a very yummy desserts.

Yesterday we had a fun day at the Anderson's house. Monica was so sweet to invite us all over for a yummy lunch and swimming. I'm sad that I never got a picture of their fabulous pool! The kiddos had a blast and I enjoyed hanging out with Cara, Monica and Michelle. Even in a house full of boys Kennedi can find something to dress up into! And, I thought Carter was in the play room when I couldn't find him I kind of panicked! We found him stuck on the boys top bunk.

a long day!

today ended up being a pretty good day. paige's girls spent the night and i got woken up a few times with the crying and i want to go home. so, i never woke up to go to the gym, way to tired! cara called and mike never told me, i was still asleep!!
i put all the kiddos to work and it was funny how willing tatum and sydney were to help, sweet girls. i drank a zip fizz and got some energy!
i dropped the girls off so they could go to swim lessons and we headed to cara's to go swimming. kristy davis was there with her cute kids so the kiddos had plenty to play with. carter didn't swim just ate all afternoon he is such a PIG! he took bites out of all the pizza kristy brought, had a cookie, two otter pops and cheese crackers. he always seems to be hungry signing for more! kennedi fell asleep on the way over so she missed a lot of the swimming, she loves the water.
we had a fun afternoon at the Steele's thanks cara!!!
we listened to the cd cara made for the babies and loved it so much we had to bring it in to share our excitement with mike. the twins were little dancing fools and mike loved #3 on the cd a song from the Muppet's! i got a few more things done while the kiddos watched a movie. i ran a few places and had to pick up some things for mike's birthday tomorrow.
i made dinner and then put carter and kennedi to bed early and recruited cody and kelsey to help with getting mike's birthday gifts ready.
lately carter has been climbing up and sleeping with cody on the top bunk after we have put him to bed. tonight when cody went to go get in bed guess who? yep, carter had climbed up there and was laying on cody's pillow under the covers fast asleep!! i think cody was a little hurt, he thought carter had been climbing up to be with him.
so, now i'm off to bed! sorry for being so lazy and not using caps.

The Kiddos!

All morning me and the kids have been getting stuff done so we could go swimming. But, it is so hard to get things done when you have two little cuties who always want to play! Carter would bring me a blanket and want me to wrap it around him like it is the picture. Sometimes he would run off, pose for a picture or want me to hold him like a baby. Oh, how I love that it's hard when your babies start to grow up! Kennedi was playing dress up and wanted to play peek-a-boo with her hat. I took breaks all morning long so I could play with my kiddos, we did make it to the pool. I got burnt I put sunscreen on everyone but ME! The best part about bringing the kids swimming is they take really long naps!!
