Foot Rodeo

Our ward every year puts on a big foot rodeo and it's something my kiddos love! It's right up there with Father & Sons Camp outs. What's not to love? There is so many fun activities riding horses, egg toss, chasing chickens and of course all the junk they can eat! The kids get so excited because PaPa Joe comes with his horses. Monica once again did a great job & the food was so yummy!! We can't wait for next year.

A fairy tale!

Me and the kids watched this cute movie tonight. It was my first time seeing it and I loved every minute of it! After watching it I felt like putting on a dress, speaking in a high pitch voice & breaking out in a song!
My favorite would have to be watching my kiddos. Kelsey and Cody had seen it in the theaters with my parents. But, they enjoyed it again the second time. Just listening to them laugh made me smile. Kennedi loved it and pretty much never moved. Carter has really been into reenacting movies he's been watching lately. That is what he did tonight. He would get up and dance & he was very concerned when the wicked witch came into the picture! I even got a kiss when prince charming kissed the sleeping princess.

The other night Kennedi was being silly and Mike called her a monkey. She said, I'm not a monkey I'm a princess. Carters a monkey! Gotta smile-love that girlie!!!

Rug rats but cute ones!

It was a beautiful day on Thursday and we spent most of it outside! Two of the kiddos had to change, Landon was close to naked,they all had gross noses and no ones hair ever got combed it was not a pretty sight! But, they sure did have lots of FUN!!! Every time I told Carter to smile he would give me this pose, it was cracking me up! The line for the slide was like this for a good half hour NO JOKE!! The next day it rained so I'm happy we took advantage of the great Arizona winters!

Oh the fun kids can have!

On Friday Mike and I took Cody, Kelsey, Sydney and Tatum to Steven's football game. It was Homecoming so it was extra crowded and very exciting! Steven did great and we are always so proud of him. These kiddos had soooo much fun and it had really nothing to do with the game. They loved collecting all these paper rings. Then they would hang them down & other kiddos they didn't know would try and grab them. Many hours of fun! It's amazing what can make little ones happy!!! It was also exciting because Steven's friend and a friend of our family Nick Ferrin won Homecoming King.

Happy Birthday Cody!!!

Today is my Cody's 8th birthday!!! I can't believe how fast it has gone and in a couple of weeks he will be baptized. He was pretty excited to get to share his day with his Uncle Jack. Today was Jack's homecoming and Jack did so great speaking, what a natural! Cody has been talking about his birthday party for months now. We do friend parties ever other year & he was planning early this year. On Saturday Rhett, Chase, Seth and Landon came over for pizza & opening gifts. Then we headed off to go play at Makutu's Island, the boys had a blast!! I was lucky to have some company Pam met me over there & we found a place to sit & chat and boys just were off and playing, checking in with us every once in awhile. After the fun we went for some yummy ice cream to cool off. Cody had a great day! He also loves getting all the mail on birthdays. The grandparents, aunts & uncles- thanks guys!!

10.Lots and lots of swimming with cousins and friends!

9.Get Cody prepared for his baptism. Planning a fun birthday party and his baptism, find him a suit! Help Cody and Kelsey memorize the articles of faith.

8.Uncle Jack gets home!!!! Lots of fun times and playing games with Jack.

7.Work on having a yummy dinner every night and cooking more with the kiddos!!

6. READ!!! I'm planning on making a reading chart for the kiddos! When they have read a certain amount of books they get a prize. We will also be visiting the library a lot.
5. Having summer fun with cousins and friends! Swimming, family movie nights, crafts, baking, bowling, fun restaurants, maybe a trip to California etc....

4. Go spend some time up north at my grandparents cabins'. And go fishing and camping with friends.

3. Going through closets and getting rid of clothes we don't need. Shopping for good deals on new school clothes and a suit for Cody's baptism.2. Family Reunions!! We had a Daley family reunion last year up at the cabin and I think we are doing it again this year. Also, the Leffue side is also having a reunion
1. Date night- Mike and I used to be so good about every Friday going out. It was so nice to look forward to a fun night just the two of us or with friends just NO kids! We are going to start being better and making time for the two of us.

Fun Times!

After school the kids played with cousins and Grammie, it was beautiful outside! It took us a little while to get Presley on, and then she wasn't very happy to get off!
