Mike came home after work on Wednesday with a HUGE surprise for all of us! Now he knows the only way I will agree to this is to surprise me (I can't say no after the kids see her)! The kiddos all love her well Kennedi is still trying to warm up to her. Poor girl is just like me and is scared silly of dogs! Her name was Robin so that is what we are calling her until we have a family vote. The other night when I was throwing a diaper away I said hi to her. Kelsey heard me & said "oh mom you do like her"! Then she went on to say well now that you like her can she come in the house? I'm sure you all knew what my answer was!!!! Carter just loves her and will hang outside with her all afternoon. And Cody and Kelsey have been teaching her some tricks. Cody already has her rolling over and shaking hands!

NICE! yeah good call on the outside dog. and love when the kids hang out outside with her. well have fun with that! can't wait to hear what they vote on for the name.

You are a nicer mom than me! I would have made all my kids cry and sent the dog packing!! I told Stuart when the kids are a bit older...and I would want an inside dog...I know crazy, but anyway it has been a big topic of discussion at our house at times!! Way to go on being a good sport :).
Those kind of surprises can go bad. I am so impressed you have been so nice. I think your daughter thinking you liked him because you said hi was totally funny! Your a great mom.
Okay, dying! This is what Shawn would have to do for us to have a dog -- I am petrified of dogs. But, we all know Mike is a sucker for animals. Your kids are loving it, I am sure. I still remember all their cute animal stories when I would be in class with them at primary. What's one more mouth to feed I guess. Soon it will be a part of the family I am sure.
Where'd Mike get Robin? She's cute. It's the other way around here. I had to talk Cory into getting a dog for our boys-he's not a total dog lover either, and I'm sort of surprised when I hear him say Hi to her-ha! I'm sometimes wondering why I talked him into letting us get Chewy-but the boys love her and she's pretty fun. Have fun with your new addition!
Robin looks sweet. And that's too funny that Kennedi is scared of dogs too! I remember always trying to make you love out family dogs!
Congrats on the new addition! We love dogs at our house. I never got to have one growing up, but now I HAVE to have them. Luvpilot gets the manly dog, and I get the cute house dog that likes to cuddle.

Alright I'm a bit biased because I'm an animal lover. But with kids, it's sometimes just one more thing needing attention. That being said, there is NOTHING cuter than a little cowboy with his "horse" or seeing a huge dog please with his eyes to let him not be the princess at the tea party with pearls and a hat.
ohhhhh....I am soooo sorry!!!! You can come over here when you need a break!
